The official NASA PVT+ (Psychomotor Vigilance Test) is a validated iOS-based touchscreen application created for research purposes. It incorporates various industry-standard forms for gathering extensive research data related to sleep, alertness, and performance studies.

 <li>Basic Study: Offers a structured framework, spanning single or multiple days, facilitating the collection of research data through designated prompts for a sleep diary, PVT assessments, and Karolinska Sleepiness Scale (KSS) responses.</li>
 <li>Aviation Study: Tailored specifically for aviation-related research, this feature encompasses Off-Duty Days and Duty Days sections, guiding participants through specific tasks including sleep diaries, PVT assessments, KSS responses, and more.</li>

The key components within the NASA PVT+ application are:

 <li>Psychomotor Vigilance Test (PVT): A reaction-timed test aimed at detecting effects of sleep deprivation and circadian disruptions. The test requires participants to tap the screen at the appearance of a millisecond counter within a box.</li>
 <li>Karolinska Sleepiness Scale (KSS): A self-reported scale for rating sleepiness levels over specific time intervals.</li>
 <li>Sleep Diary: Includes pre- and post-sleep episode entries detailing sleep patterns and quality assessment.</li>
 <li>Study Enrollment Information: Consists of relevant questionnaires and practice exercises to acclimate participants to study procedures.</li>

Data collected using the NASA PVT+ iOS application does not contain Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Research data is only transmitted to NASA with explicit agreements between external organizations and NASA.
